JEM Device
The following table summarizes the main light signals emitted by the JEM device.
Color/Meaning | Required Action |
JEM seeks a Bluetooth connection with JEMPass app. | If pattern persists for more than 5-7s, troubleshoot. |
JEM connected to JEMPass app. | Expected behavior. No action required. JEM will perform assigned job. |
JEM waiting for fingerprint | Place and lift enrolled finger on JEM sensor. Video. IMPORTANT - if you are not trying to use JEM to sign in or decrypt a saved credential, DO NOT scan your fingerprint. |
Red flash following Green Wave Fingerprint scan or verification failed | Try scanning fingerprint again. Video. |
Charging Dock
The following table summarizes the various light signals emitted by the JEM device.
Color/Meaning | Required Action |
No light Indicates Dock is not receiving power | Plug Dock to USB power source or change the USB power source. See detailed instructions. Ensure cable is plugged in securely at both ends. If problem persists, troubleshoot. |
Steady orange glow - No JEM on Dock JEM Dock is receiving power | No action required |
Steady orange glow - JEM is on Dock JEM Dock is receiving power but JEM is NOT charging correctly | Please verify that the contact pads at the bottom of the JEM device line up correctly with the contact pins of the Charging Dock. See detailed instructions. |
Steady red glow JEM Dock is receiving power • JEM device correctly placed on the Dock and is receiving charging current | No action required
